Determine the cause
(1) If it is a single switch, in the operation of the control of the ammeter has instructions, indicating that the action turnout power has been sent to the turnout. (2) If it is a double moving turnout, in the operation of the control of the ammeter when the move will not move, indicating that the action switch power has been sent to a switch, the failure of the switch after a move, is the outdoor fault.
(3) If the turnout is fixed and the reverse position can be moved, it is not indicated. Using a multimeter to communicate 250v, in the X1 (or X2) and X3 between the measurement of the AC 110V voltage, if there is a voltage, it is the outdoor fault, otherwise it is the indoor fault.
